CLAN PESTILENBy Tommy "Punk" FranssonThe meteors path didn't go unnoticed by the prying eyes of the Council in Skavenblight and they sent out Clan Eshin to retrieve Wyrdstone. Yet other prying eyes want the Wyrdstone for their own reasons. The Plaguelords of Clan Pestilens want to lay a paw on some Wyrdstone to cultivate new and more potent plagues. Yet they cannot send an army there because that would mean interfering with the Council Edict to only allow sanctioned Clan Eshin Expeditions. You have either been sent out on order from a Plaguelord or you have taken the initiative yourself. The Skaven are a jelous race and a Skaven will happily sabotage for a fellow Skaven to further his own ends or to make sure his rival doesn't outdo him. "Fools-fools! They laugh-laughed at my disease and call-called me a petty monk. I will show-show them Priests. I Niek Two-Whiskers will return with a coffin full of Wyrdstone. Then they will not laugh-laugh no more, then I will be Plague Priest! Yes-yes."

SKAVENSLAVES....................10 Warp tokens to buy The Skaven race consist of numerous lesser Warlord clans and even the largest clans are divided in smaller factions and they all wage war on each other. Food is scarce in the under-empire and the workforce and goods of a neighbouring clan is always attractive. The clans are locked in a stalemate however and only when several clans ally together or sign non-agression pacts may a clan triumph over another. Of course said alliances and pacts are often broken, in fact they are broken more often than not and the clans therefore form numerous alliances and pacts to at least have someone backing them up. The defeated Clanrats are taken as slaves and set to work in mines, carrying goods and generally assigned the most dangerous tasks.
